How Live in PT handles contact emails, technical hosting data, and privacy-friendly analytics.
Live in PT is a practical guide website for foreigners living in Portugal. We keep data collection limited and avoid invasive tracking.
Contact emails
If you email us, we receive your email address, your message, and any details you include. We use that information to reply, check corrections, review source updates, or handle site-related enquiries. Please do not send passports, residence cards, tax records, medical records, or other sensitive documents.
Analytics
This site does not use Google Analytics (GA4).
This site does not use analytics cookies for basic analytics.
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics for aggregate performance and page-load measurement. We also collect limited, anonymous engagement events such as page activity, scroll depth, and link or share clicks.
Analytics scripts and event collection may be served from liveinpt.com via same-origin endpoints for reliability.
Our site-run engagement analytics does not use cookies, IP-address-based activity feeds, fingerprinting, or person-level visitor profiles. To distinguish visits without identifying a person, the browser creates random session and same-day browser tokens in sessionStorage and localStorage. The collection service replaces those tokens with keyed, shortened values before they reach the private dashboard. Same-day grouping resets at Lisbon midnight, is not linked across days, and short-lived session detail is deleted after five days. Reporting records page paths, broad acquisition/device/country categories, visible and verified-active time, scroll depth, and intentional action categories; it does not collect page text, form values, email addresses, search terms, IP addresses, or precise location.
Advertising
Live in PT displays third-party advertising supplied by Adsterra. Adsterra and the advertisers it works with may process technical request information and use cookies, pixels, or similar technologies to deliver, limit, measure, and report advertising. Advertising content is loaded from Adsterra-controlled domains.
Advertising providers have their own privacy practices. You can restrict or delete cookies using your browser settings, although doing so may affect how advertisements are displayed.
Cloudflare
Live in PT may use Cloudflare for hosting, caching, security, and performance. Cloudflare may process technical request data needed to deliver and protect the website.
Search performance tools
We may use Google Search Console to understand search performance. Google Search Console does not place tracking cookies on visitors through this website.

We link to official sources and other external websites. Those sites have their own privacy practices, cookies, and terms. Check their policies before sharing personal information with them.
How long we keep data
Contact emails are kept only as long as needed to reply, keep correction records, protect the site, or handle reasonable administrative needs.
